Challenge #8

"Group Four Photos"

At last, a challenge I can do well! These "one photo per page" challenges are so out of my league! I like what we've come up with this week. Some neat stuff... here's what's done, so far!

Challenge #7

... and still going strong! Well, except me. I'm the slacker. I want to do my challenges, honest, my brain just won't cooperate with me. But I did develop the photo I want to use for this challenge. I'm picking it up this weekend, so I will catch up... I promise!

And that's enough whining for now.

This week's challenge was a really neat one, "Take an Artistic Photograph". Our group had fun with it and did some pretty amazing layouts. So without further ado, here's what they came up with...

Edited to add:

Laura's Layout:
My son, Connor's layout... Connor's absolute favourite food is peanut butter. He would eat peanut butter three times a day if I let him. One morning last week, he was adament that he wanted a PB and J sandwich for breakfast... so I let him make it himself, including cutting it. He was very, very proud of his accomplishments.

Anita's Layout:Marion's Layout:Alison's Layout: (and Alison, despite my flipping it again, blogger decides it has to be sideways... I'm sorry, I really have no idea what that keeps happening!)Marlene's Layout:
Carrie's Layout:... and my Dad's Layout (can you guess where they just returned from?)

Week #6

Challenge #6 - Create a Ribbon Cluster

I love what our Crop Circle (trying that nickname on for size) has done with this challenge this week. The ribbon adds a cute, feminine touch to each layout, but the interpretations are all so different. Great job!

Only one slacker this week... me! Not sure why, but I just couldn't get into it. I didn't enjoy the last ribbon challenge, so I think I avoided this one for that reason. Also, my ribbon stash is very, very small, since I don't use the stuff on my layouts. Hmm... perhaps a trip to the craft store to pick up some cute new ribbon is just what the doctor ordered...

Anyway, without further ado, here are this week's layouts:

Week #5

The challenge for this week is to "Embellish a Floral Accent". Which we certainly did! I am amazed by the creativity pouring out of us. The pages look great and so far, we're all still enjoying the process and keeping up to date (myself included... I came in 10 minutes short of midnight last night with mine!)

Aren't these pages amazing and oh so girly? :) Can't wait to see what comes out of next week's challenge... it's working with ribbon again.
Until then, Happy Scrapping!
