Anita - I used L=leaves; A=arrow; Y=yarn; E=envelope; R=ruler/ribbon and S=stickers:

Carrie:

L - I have used a stencil to do my letters.

A - I chose to scrapbook the Ancient forest, used an arrow

Y - Yellow and Yellowhead Hwy.

E - edging of trees using a border punch system that came out of hiding

R - a stretch for sure.  A bit of river drawn on the map to show where part of the Fraser River is

S - stencil for lettering and a stamped arrow

ALTERNATE CHALLENGE #4 - The consensus was the colour board  contained colour choices we found difficult to match or simply disliked.  Carrie submitted this sketch as an alternative for Challenge #4; so either one will work:
